  • Hot wheel?

Well if you read the post "turnover but no start" (http://www.fordfestiva.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6653) You understand that I have not driven the car in a week. SO this morning was the first real road test to my work. When I pulled into work I noticed that the car was not free rolling. It st oped itself like I had the breaks on lightly. I got out and noticed that the drivers side front tire was noticeably warmer then the other wheels? Is this a bearing going out?

it could be the wheel bearing or

most likely the caliper sticking with the brake pads dragging

did you notice i slight pull to the left while driving and braking?
    is the caliper really hot?

I wil have to see when I head home. At 530 in the morning it is hard enough to keep my eyes open let alone diagnose a car problem.

I did not check the calipers, I will when I get home. It seemed to be the whole wheel was hot

I think I fixed it. I pulled the wheel off last night and it looked like the slider pins for the front brakes had rusted and caused the brakes to stick up against the roter. Buffed off the pins, put a little anti-seeze and drove it this morning with no issue
