Buzzer won't stop

Hi, I'm new to the fourm i just bought a 1988 festiva. The warning buzzer will not stop. Does anyone know how to disable it?

Reach up under the dash and unplug it.

That was the first thing I did when I bought my Festiva.

The seatbelt warning light won't work after that but it won't affect the car.
