  • Aspire Control Arms

So my passenger side lower ball joint is pretty shot and my drivers side is a bit wonky too. I was thinking of just changing out the passengers side, as the guy at the tire shop said it was a dealer only item and he wanted like $500 for the part and install. I'm certainly not afraid to swap them out myself, so off to ebay. I saw a pair of LCA's NIB for $150. The guy says they're for 94-97, i'm just trying to make sure he's correct. Anyone know for sure if all the LCA's are the same for Aspires?

The aspire and Festiva arms are different, so no swapping them. The auction is probably the best you'll find. They are $95 each from FMS. Remember the aspires have left or right unlike the festiva which can go on either side.

    BP Festiva http://www.cardomain.com/ride/723319 - SOLD
    BPT Festiva www.cardomain.com/ride/2260009 - SOLD
    BPT GTX www.cardomain.com/ride/2436495 - SOLD
    New GTX - http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3294846/ - SOLD

If you are not afraid to drive a little distance there is a shop down in Akron Called "East Liberty Auto Parts", I have the phone number if you want. They carry just about everything for festiva (not sure about aspire) but there prices are dirt cheap. Let me know if you want the phone number. It is at the I-77 and Arlington road exit. Just north of the canton\Akron Airport.

I was thinking of getting them and having them shipped to my dads house in CT. I'm visiting them for the first week of August. Here in OH, i've only got my car and if I do something like snap a bolt, i'm screwed. It's perfectly drivable as it is, it just needs to get fixed. I just wanted to make sure that all aspire arms are the same for 94-97, auto or manual. That's what it says in the auction, but I wouldn't call ebay auction comments a reliable source of information.
