Transmission issues

Well my transmission gave out a few weeks ago so I found a replacement so I went ahead and bought a clutch kit for the replacement I put it in new axle seals and everything torqued to specs and everything was great but I was driving the other day and red lined it in 3rd and hit fourth and heard a loud clunk and felt it but that was all I kept driving thinking everything was ok but about 10 miles later the tranny exploded no joke! So I got underneath the car to inspect the damage and tranny fluid was everywhere since I busted the tranny case but the fluid was soooooo hot like boiling hot any ideas on what's wrong

Yea man I'm not sure what I'm gonna do now I'm thinking that I might try to fun another festy since mine has a lot of issues and use my current car as a parts car I've got everything to do an aspire conversion off of an auto aspire including the sway bar I'm really wanting to do an xr2 swap but I can't find one cheap enough around here the cheapest one I have found is about 2000

I tried to contact that guy about the black festiva but he didn't respond. its gonna be a few weeks cause I gotta pay an outrageous speeding ticket thanks to having fun in a festy lol. I told that state trooper (after he wrote out the ticket) that I could have got away from him but I didn't want to embarrass him
