My brakes have taken lessons from me and decided to fail. Completely. Didn't post a search cause i am stranded at work sorry in advance.

I have fluid. There is no obvious leaks but the pedal has as much resistance as the clutch. Almost none. There is so little resistance im suprised its holding itself up. Before it gave out completely it would hold for a second then fall straight down. I heard some Noise as it reached the floor and then bam no more resistance. When the car is completely off. No resistance.

Is it the booster? When i take the vaccum line off the booster and hold my finger over the hole and have someone push the brakes, pressure is built up. Not alot but some.

Help i have an hour before someone comes to get me lol.

replace the master, if you have no pedal effort and there is no stopping power, you have no hydrolic pressure (which comes from master cyl).

You may choose to decide to upgrade your master cylinder. Perhaps an EGT master cylinder if you have done an Aspire upgrade. Do a search.

i just replaced the master cylinder in mine...easy job with very low cost

I was going to do the aspire upgrade, again. I must have pulled a bad one. I might as well grab the hubs and do the swap. Ive been planning it for a while but a deal i couldn't refuse on some other stuff fell in my lap. I may have to sell off some of my mint headlights and taillights to help fund this lol.

Try a protege automatic master cylinder. It has less ports to plug.

So i have installed a newer master cylinder. i cannot get fluid to cone out of the port closest to the firewall. It cones out of the farter one. I can feel aair beung pushed through when the pedal depresses and air being sucked in when the pedal is released.

Also,

When the car is off and you punp the brakes it gets somewhat stiff but you are still able to push it to the floor . When the car is turned on. Nothing. No resistance at all.

The fsm says this is probally a failing booster. But at the same time iknow that there is air in the system and this could throw off results.

Can someone give me a pointer?

you need to draw or push fluid into that rear port. if the new master came with a bleed kit, take a large saringe full of fluid, attach the nipple adapter to the rear port and push the fluid into the master. then draw it back out. if you have air in either direction, repeat untill there are no bubbles, then blead that entire circuit as normal.

Well for one, you don't want it to suck in air. So have someone press the pedal, place your finger over the hole, release pedal, press pedal and release finger until fluid comes out
