Heater vent door question

    Wonder if i just stuff a ton of rags in the vent holes if that will solve the problem ???? Lol that sounds much eaiser remove grill jam rags in holes think it would work ? Lol

      Sweet i fixed the air vents foam stuff and rags sealed this problem like concrete no more air blowing from any of the useless vents

          Yes, you need to pull off the dash. The foam is glued to the mouth of the blower. The dash plenum is screwed into the back of the dash. When you put the dash on, it pushes against the foam on the stationary blower box. It was designed to fit together by means of the lip and the wide flange around the center vent. There are no screws or bolts where the two flanges meet. Just foam. Your stock foam should be all shrivelled up by now. If you are ambitious, you should also replace the foam seals around all the doors in your blower assembly, when you take it apart to clean and inspect the heater core. Winter's coming.

            lol hahahhaa umm thanks for the info but foam spray and rags worked out awesome i got heat with no cold air blowing inside ever again its sealed as good as fort knox ,lol

              Why not start by pulling the main damper out behind the glovebox and see if that is letting in the cold air?
