Hiya from Australia..i need to lube my speedo cable on my '95 festiva. It appears to be in 2 pieces as it has a joint in the middle of the cable that look as if they unbolt. I've never seen a speedo cable like it before as all others are just a straight cable from the trans to the dashpot....weird hmmmmmm

I was looking all over for a cable like that before I sent mine in for shortening. I need to install a cruise speed sensor.
All you have to do is just swap yours with a single piece speedometer cable from the junkyard.
Save the other one just in case you decide to go cruising. -
You're right there buddy..the two piece cable is extinct, so i'm off to the junkyard
