  • About to choke this thing

Really. I am. But I think it may need to be a manual choke since someone or other seems to have had plans ot make my 1988 Festiva into a field buggy , and had a go at engine area. One of the things they've done is disconnected wire for the automatic choke. Anyone know where the other end was connected to originally? I haven't bought a shop manual yet, and my family mechanic wasn't familiar with the Festiva, so couldn't say where the wire went.

Any thoughts are appreciated. Hook up the auto choke, or go manual?

Theres a little spade lug connector on the back of the alternator. Thats where it goes. Good luck!

Sweet. Thanks for the tip! I'll reconnect it after work today.
