Car issue quiz!

Car died today:

Drove to drug store and came out, got in and turned key. Festy said "grumph" .... like it was going to start and then ....nothing... turn key, all silent.

Lights work
Horn works
Cartridge fuses in place of fusible links - all good

WTF? Neutral switch? Going out to look at it in a few minutes, now that i've cooled down enough to have a look at it! lol

Dunno...wiggle the wire(s) on the starter and battery. Babyspire had some corrosion on the starter wire that wouldn't let it start but you could listen to the radio.

I feel ashamed! I pulled the rubber cap off the pos batt post and .... :shock: it was covered 1/8 thick with blue crud!!

Lol, don't feel bad, I could have bought a 01 4wd s10 for $600 last year because the guy had a "wiring issue." He's lucky I'm a nice guy and spent 10minutes with some pb blaster Haha, he would have had a good reason to feel bad.
