Is the VAF shutting down the fuel pump relay?
Jump the fuel test connector to ground and find out.

The 1992 EVTS manual shoes the fuel pump self test connector right beside the brake reservoir. It has a green/red wire and a black ground wire. jump it to bypass the VAF to the fuel pump relay. It will prove that the furl pump relay and the fuel pump are O.K. Then you can turn your attention to the VAF, if you have to.

Just throwing this out there, but I had one of my 91EFI heads milled down .040 when it was warped, runs great.

The radiator is back to being old fathfull..... could I just have cracked the block cuz I have gone through 2 heads and the odds of them being both worped 2 head guaskets one with copper gasket sealent spray and blowing smoke.. so with that said if I need a new motor how hard is it to get ahold of a b6 engine

I guess the question is how bad did you overheat the car to begin with? Miles on the hiway blowing coolant out? Hard to believe you cracked the block, but like any engine it can happen.

By the time I pulled over the radiator was way low and the temp read above the H. But I don't look at the dash much when driving so idk how long it was hot on the dash but I noticed. Loss of power allmost a mile from where it died cuz it would maybe go 55mph and was in traffic and stuck on the left side and wasn't able to get over right away. There was gas and antifreeze in the oil and every ware else

The car can kinda idle after it worms up but no matter how much gas I add it dies when I try to drive down the driveway but it has good compression

Well. If compression is good across the block then it isnt cracked. It really does sound like a VAF going bad. They will do that at the worst possible times.

Ill go to a junkyard ttoday to pick up a VAF but there and better ones I can get than a stock festiva one? And I only checked the compression on cylender 1. Onn 3 and 4 is where the guaskets and every thang was bad at when I pulled the head both times so ill check the compression on the rest of them in a bit

Did you jump the VAF to see if that was the problem, before you go and get another one?
