  • Aspire Downpipe/Mani = Auto Festiva?

My auto's downpipe is toast, and rmoltis has an Aspire downpipe + mani for sale.. would this work with the automatic trans location (on a Festiva), or would it hit stuff?

Need to know pretty soon, I've had it temp-welded twice.

    Thanks for any help!

don't see why not... the reason the DPs are different is because the length of the manifolds are different, but as far as i know the total length of the paired pieces are the same, and since the aspire and festy drivetrains are essentially identical, there should be no clearance issues whatsoever.

...so should I buy it? lol

I just gotta make sure, don't want to cause a hassle for him or for me. Especially don't want about $100 in something I can't use! :p If you're over 90% on it, that'll be good 'nuff for me!

i'd say 95%... only thing would be the cat flange alignment.... that's the ONLY place it gets dicey.

I'm sure you could have it welded up for fairly cheap, its really not hard at all to cut and weld it to fit if it didn't line up right. Autozone and advance both sell a flexpipe that would work with some clamps for about 10 bucks.
