anybody know were to get an OE accelerator cable (part #) for an 88 stock 5speed festiva or how long the OE one is?

There dang near the same for carby or fuel inj ! If you post your address or make a wtb someone ( hint hint ) might sell / ship you one !!!

This is another obvious case for investigating Kia Rio parts. If you are near a wrecker or U-Pull, and one that has early Rios kicking about, check to see if the throttle cables are compatible. Other than that Rock Auto and 4-Green are best bets for direct replacements.
Judging by shadetree's response he likely has one he'll part with (and so do I, and many other forum members with parts cars) but you'll have to grease some palms to get one loose and headed in your general direction. It's called hoarding; the physical part is worth nothing until you really need one, and then all of a sudden it becomes gold, and 5 minutes after you part with it you actually need one yourself.
