I've got a stupid/DA question. I just replaced the swaybar bushings but forgot if the hump in the middle of the swaybar goes up or down. Its a MTX Festy. Does it make any differance which way it is placed. I've read that it doesn't matter if you use a Aspire swaybar if its up or down.hmmmmmm

That's the way it goes. The hump only goes up with the aspire bars because they go above the crossmember.2008 Kia Rio- new beater

It shouldnt matter which way the hump goes. The working part of the sway bar is from the bushings to the LCA, which is straight no matter which way the hump goes....
Heh Heh .... "no matter which way the hump goes" :razz:Last edited by drddan; 07-26-2013, 02:55 PM.Dan

De hump goes...up & down. Humpity, hump, hump. Thanks everyone, I was worried because I'm sure the " hump" was up & just touchin' the lower radiator hose. A mechanic had this car when I bought it, & it had been in an accident before. The Front upper brach has been straightined. Maybe they screwed it up when they did the repair.
