Well after checking the water pump and replacing the thermostat, my festy blew a head gasket.

So, I'm going to pull the head off and look everything over really good and slowly put it back together.

Is there anything I should replace while the head is off? Valve seals, etc?

valve seals, cam seal, dizzy O-ring (36mm). remove the protruding valve guide from the runners for better air flow. i can show you pix for example. shave the deck for more compression. get an adjustable cam gear and set it to 2-4* advance.
