Another stupid Aspire suspension swap question!

Okay, I've got a pretty good step by step build from the clubprotege.com site. But leave a few unanswered questions,sorta. He says to remove the Aspire tie-rod ends from the doner, they were crap;dumb question #1; do I need Aspire tie-rod ends, or can I use Festive ones?? My Lower control ares are crap;dumb question #2; do I get new Festy LCA's or Aspire LCA's? Told 'ya they were dumb questions. Oh.. 1 more not dumb question, where do I get new rear Aspire trailing arm bushings? thankshmmmmmm

Use the tie rod ends for the knuckle your using. Use the lca for the car your using unless swapping axles and inner tie rod ends. No clue about the trailing arm bushings.

Thanks zoom. Its Aspire tie-rod ends; about $70. ea. for moog, & Festy LCA's, $67. ea. About $275. at O'Riely's.

Ouch, I know the duralast and (advance brand) run about 30 each, sometimes autozone will stick a Moog part in a duralast box, but Festy tie rod ends are only 13$!! I haven't found a lower for less than 70 but I haven't checked Rockauto for them lately either?

BUY on eBay, BUT, only buy the name brand parts. I got Festy MOOG control arms for $38 pr and Rio MOOG rod ends for $19pr and Festy Moog inners for $28pr. The Festy MOOG sway bar bushings at LCA were $11 for both sides. Just be patient and the deals will come. That's why it pays to assemble all parts before you start the build.

The rear trailing arm bushings are available on fourgreen.
You just have to email the guy about them and he will send you the correct part#

Buy Escort tie rod ends. They are the same thing as Aspire ones when it comes to fit, but cost sometimes less than half of the Aspire price.

Try this for bushings. They'll need some modification though.

Thats what I'm doin' now. just gettin' all the parts before I tear my Festy apart. I found cheaper ones on E-bay. One place was selling Moog LCA's in two places, 1 set was $20. cheaper. I'm patient, will be doin the rear first. Still have cleaning & painting to do.
