  • Techno was possesed. But she's all better now..

Removed the seats, carpet and dash to install my custom dash and wire up a couple of components. It took forever it seemed, I got the dash and cluster in and everything reinstalled by around midnight, but found that now my signals wouldn't work.. then I realized that the radiator fan came on when the key is on.. then I tried a few other things like the passive belts didn't work either.. checked the fuses and the meter fuse kept blowing... needless to say I surely had to have wired something wrong.. so I clipping each wire installed I basically reversed everything I did to try to track it down.. no luck.. even with everything disconnected, the damn meter fuse was going to ground when you turn the key on.....

4 am I found the problem (had to be up for work at 7:30am)

It was a silly stupid mistake, but 1 you most likely would miss as well....

I must have inadvertantly put a knee down on the passive restraint module (the 1 under the driver's seat) because it had a nice dent in it and once I unplugged it everything was normal again... replaced it and all is well.. got it all back together and got 2 hours of sleep.. I just got home.. nighty night.
