  • Pod temperature gauge

My temperature gauge doesn't work and when I install my engine I plan on added a pod gauge to view temperature. Can I just remove the gauge sender and use it? I believe it's a 1/8? A
Can some point me to one?
Someone had one in the car before but there was no place to screw the probe in as it was too big.

I have a fuel gage acting up and can't get the cluster out of the dash. Not enough wire to pull cluster out to disconnect plugs.
    HELP!

Logan, if the probe for the new gauge is the same thread as the hole where the old gauge was then you should be able to use it.

Toecar, you will need to unscrew the speedometer cable from the speedometer head at the back of the transmission (under the hood) in order to pull the cluster out far enough to disconnect the cable and wires.
      No festiva for me ATM...

Can you verify the tread is 1/8 x 27? Also does the gauge sender send a reading to the computer or just the gauge? I know my f150 has one sender for the gauge and computer but that might not be required on the car.

Logan, according to NAPA it is 1/8-27. I don't have one handy to verify personally though.
