  • aint never gonna change it!!!!!! (oil)

well it is that time again....
I need to change my oil but I am sure all i will do is make my hla's start that loud racket again.
see this is what happens .
    new oil = loud tapping
old oil = runs smooth and quiet.

so i am not changing it just the filter and topping it up.

    wish me luck.

0w30 winter oil is very thin ,makes for easier starting in very cold temps ,no wonder they are noisy

              ya same problem.
but it is not a prob if i never change the oil.
I have a smashed donar car with only 40 000 k on it so if i am going to change anything i will swap the engine.
              mine has 170 000 k.
as i see it if i at least put in a new filter and 1 litre of fresh oil i am not hurting anything that bad??
plus i dont have alot of time right now to start fixing hla problems.
or should i use synthetic and just change filters ??

Actually, the oil would only be considered "thin" at neg 35C. At room temp some 0w30s are thicker than 10w30s.
