  • missing AC tensioner , 93 festiva GL 5 speed

I got my festiva a while back from somebody on here , got it running and registered still few minor things to do.

I got an AC belt and noticed there is no tensioner for my AC system. I still need to do some investigating and check to see if the blower motor even works , but as far as getting a tensioner does anybody have any pics of the AC brackets how / where they go and if anybody has one.

mine was missing to you can get one off an aspire throw the pulley away and go get a new pulley at parts store for v belt setup.unless 93 is serpentine

There are at least 3 types of brackets/AC mounts found on the Festiva.
See if I can find the thread from some years ago discussing this.

The tensioner pully bracket goes right above the condenser. There are 3 holes in a triangle pattern just to the left of the heat shield. If it has been missing for a long time the holes could be filled with crap. Make sure to tap them out before you put bolts in.

Are the ac relays above the passenger strut tower or are they behind the drivers headlight?

I have absolutely no idea. I got to take a better look to see where the relays are ..... But its not a serpentine.
