    Im going through my haynes manuel, trying to diagnose my 91 festiva, they are talking about blink codes. Does anyone know if this works
    Yellow 91 festiva GL 5speed
    Red 88festiva L 4spd
    Blue 91festiva L 5spd (bad tranny, sloppy suspension)

    Yup it does. I keep a jump wire with a spade terminal on each end in my glove box
    1963 Fairlane - future NSS drag car
    1965 Mustang Coupe - A-code car, restoring for/with my son
    1973 F100 longbed - only 22k original miles, 360/auto, disk, PS/PB dealer in dash A/C
    1996 Sonoma X-cab - son's DD
    2002 Grand Prix - daughter's DD
    2003 Sport Trac - 180k, 130k on replaced motor with new timing chains - F/S soon.
    2005 Accord - wife's DD
    2008 Mountaineer - step daughter's DD
    2015 F150 SCrew - DD

      Thank you. So its sti and ground port according to manuel?

        I permanently stuck a spade terminal in the black STI one-wire plug, and then use a wire with alligator clips on both ends to connect it to the motor as the ground. Then read the CEL's blink codes. No need to deal with the STO-and-ground with voltmeter technique.

          I now have my jumper wire i will carry. Code 2 cp sensor, where and what does it look like.

            This info is in your Haynes manual, page 6-13 in my version.

              Cool. Real strange that i plug in pcm and it started runnig when it hadnt been. Didnt cler the code either, it was cleared after car started.
