clutch, tranny

So i got my new 91 running and it has a slipping clutch, also pops out of 4th gear, its a 5spd. If im going to do the clutch im thinking i should get a jy trans. Yard hidden near my place has 3 festys and one aspire. Whats the best tranny to put in? How hard is the swap and are there any special precaussions? Ive done 1 clutch and trannys are not my deal

Just find another 5 speed. The difference between the aspire and festiva trans is only the final drive I think and it's very similar.

These festiva clutches are tiny and have no meat on them. That link you gave me is awesome. Super detailed and well orginized

If you get an Aspire transmission, get the front mount too. On the clutch, get an Exedy.
