  • name that part/do i need it

Just to the left of the brake booster there is a junction of hardlines. What are they? I thought they were related to AC but they don't appear to go to where the condenser was.

Right now they are in the way so if its nothing detrimental or usefull can they be removed?

I would not remove them, or you will have no brakes. I think you are referring to the brake proportioning valve. On the other hand, that could be very exciting....briefly.

I remember when I was three or so, and drove go carts for the first time....I wouldn't use the brakes, at all. Just hit the tires to stop outside the track.lol
My dad asked why I didn't use the brakes and I said why would I wanna go slower? I wanna go faster!

So....clearly the lesson here learned is brakes are optional!

              Bah! Shift like a man! 5th to 3rd to 1st from 75!

Actually, though.. I drove the Sprint with zero brakes for like.. 5k miles. Needless to say, it's how I taught myself stick, and why I know how to downshift to 6,000 RPM.

Gonna have to find a creative way to get the rear mount under them.....
