  • Steering Gear Boot?

OK, the steering gear boots on my car are shot. The manual calls them steering gear boots anyway, they are on the inside of the tierod and cover the steering gear, like 8-10" long boot. mine are both very "shabby". I have called both Autozone and AdvanceAuto and neither can get them. how should i go about getting replacements? should i just not wory about it? seems like they should be replaced to me...

also, both of the above mentioned stores said they can't get balljoint boots. now that i reaaaaly dont' get. shouldn't there just be generic boots?? i'm putting my swap on in the next day or so, i sorta need these things first... i finally have everything else tho.

any help would be much apreciated,
    ~Nate

The motormite link doesn't work but just have autozone or any parts store that carries the motormite brand search for them.
