  • new brakes smoking

Hello all, i just put new pads and rotors on yesterday and on my way to work today i had a bit of smoke coming off the tires, i want to know if this is normal and if no what do i need to do? I drive about 3 miles city and it takes roughly 15 minutes. Any input is appreciated!

Smoke off the tires or smoke off the calipers.
Were the wheels hot to the touch?

usually they smoke a little bit and smell like they are burning.that just how new pads are.but they shouldn't be smoking a lot and continuos.feel the wheels when done driving c if any are hotter thsn the others if so u probably have sticking caliper.

The slider tubes get rusted into the caliper, they are supposed to float. If they are frozen or even "tight" it will cause the pad to constantly rub the rotor.
