  • Blower motor resistor question

I install A/C in my 92 gl a couple of weeks ago. Its worked perfect, and sure has been nice in the hot temps. Today I started out, pushed A/C switch on and the blower motor didnt come on. A/C light came on and I could feel cool air at the vent, the blower just wasnt coming on. Drove half a mile and it started working fine. It did the same thing later today. I probed around for the obvious and in doing so noticed that the blower motor resistor was missing the looped wire circled in the pic below. What is it? Looks like a fusable link. Second question, could this be responsible for the above symtoms? This is the first time its done this and I dont think that looped wire (fuse?) was ever there. Thirdly could it be blower motor switch?

most likely its your blower motor itself

next time it doesnt work, tap on the blower motor with a small hammer
