No 3rd Gear

I have a 90 with the 5 speed manual. For some reason, I can't engage 3rd gear... When I push the shifter where 3rd should be there's just nothing there. She's my daily driver, so I just rev a little higher in 2nd and skip to 4th. All the other gears shift just fine. Thoughts?

How sloppy is your shifter? Does it move around while in a gear?

^ that or the syncro let loose (bronze). check your shifter bushings and also your fluid for metal fragments.

The shifter feels pretty solid in gear, and the bushings are okay. She's due for an oil change, so I'll check the tranny fluid then. I was thinking synchro too... Is it possible that one of them could seize to a gear on the shaft or something like that?

Already tightened them... Knutson Valve might be leaking though
