  • aspire swap dust caps

Hey, getting my wheel bearings done and I've been told that they are having great issue finding dust covers for my wheels... They can find ones that come close but not any thing that fits....

Anyone able to give me a hand finding these specific parts?

Could try fourgreen if u can get the factory part number but shipping will kill it, better off to buy multiple items from them shipping doesn't go up exponentially it's just the initial sticker shock for a single part.

When I put my Aspire axles on, I found out that the caps are different from Festies. A $1 trip to PAP led to two free caps.

festiva and aspire dust caps have exactly the same skirt DIAMETER and the festiva cap will fit in the aspire hub. However, the Aspire cap has about a 1/16" deeper "bowl" (taller) and as you can see, the end is significantly bigger than the festiva cap. I don't know if this is because the aspire hub nuts are larger or what but I was always told that one of the functions of the dust cap other than keeping out dirt is to prevent the hub nut from coming all the way off the spindle if it began to loosen and rotate. if you have a festiva cap, give it a try and see if it seats fully onto the hub. unfortunately, NOS aspire caps are not available anymore. (the aspire cap is the one on the bottom of the pic).

The festy caps are will fit but the Aspire axle is longer so they won't work.
