Do you have power at the connector inside the rear hatch? All stop lights should come on at the same time since they all share the same splice. The ground is located inside the hatch area, right below the striker. It also would affect all three stop lights at the same time.Last edited by bravekozak; 10-31-2013, 06:57 PM.

There are two connectors between the common splice for the stop lamps and the third high mount brake light. Check them both. You must remove the hatch panel in order to check.
I personally doubt the connectors are the problem. they lock together and do not easily come apart. Did you check for continuity in the bulb with a multimeter? or did you actually see the bulb light up in another socket?Last edited by bravekozak; 11-01-2013, 08:25 AM.

If you have power all the way to the connector for the third brake light, then your third brake light is defective.Last edited by bravekozak; 11-01-2013, 10:51 AM.

The other place to check is behind drivers side tail light. This is where the hatch power comes from. Make sure the plug isn't corroded, or unplugged, then test for power there.-Greg
