Have a 1991 festiva L fuel injected. Got the car from a guy who had it sitting for awhile. Car would run on starting fluid but was not getting fuel. Changed fuel pump and filter. Now have fuel to rail but engine still didn't start. Used noida to check injector voltage. Plugs had power and coil was throwing spark after trying to start found the EGI fuse link burned up. Replaced link and now I have no voltage to coil or to injectors. Any help greatly appreciated

Check your main relay. It is next the next thing in the EGI circuit. It energizes in RUN and supplies power to the fuel pump relay.
Your ignition switch should feed the the positive side (BK/W) of your ignition coil in RUN.
Your ignition module should ground the negative side (Y/GN) of your coil (and report to your ECA).
Are you saying that you have no power at the positive terminal of the coil when you turn your key just past the ON position, to RUN? (Two clicks and a little farther).
You first need to determine what fried the EGI fusible link.Last edited by bravekozak; 11-21-2013, 07:50 AM.
