i think my power seat belt is going out on my GL, have to open and close the door like 2-3 times for the belt to move so i can get out.....

For the most part I think it's usually the little box under the seat that goes bad. -

Think it may be your door latch switch. When the belt does not retract when you open the door take a screwdriver and poke at the door latch a few times and see if it doesn't cause the belt to retract.Comment

I find mine does the same thing when it's below freezing outside. If I pull and let snap the door handle, it moves the belt usually.-Zack

Time to start shopping for something simpler and much more reliable; yer old fashioned manual belts as to be found on every 121/Festy/Pride etc anywhere on the planet except US of A.Comment
