  • I need someone's rebuild knowledge.

I tore down my Festiva engine out of 1993 and then ported polished honed clean manufacture metal leftovers. Gasket matched and seats and all that good stuff. Now I'm getting it back together but they sent me the wrong crank bearings. So I ordered a new set and again they were wrong And I was told that that is the only type they have for a Festiva. So what engine do I have. On the ones I removed oil gallery hole on bearing is farther away from alignment notch and on the ones I received to put in oil gallery hole is closer to alingment notch

if the bearings phisicaly fit with proper clearances, it shouldn't be too much for a local machine shop to drill another hole in the proper location... or you may need to find another parts guy? having a second hole in the upper half won't effect your oiling or pressure as it will now be a blind hole.
