Why do you need new head bolts or is this another "what is all this B3 B6 stuff" question?

Post your Festiva or Aspire repair and maintenance issues. - USE THIS FORUM FOR ANY TECHNICAL RELATED POST (IE. How do I change my oil?, How to remove axle from tranny?, etc)

i thought you were supposed to replace headbolts on a rebuild since the old ones might've stretched. the bolts and washers are still available from USA KIA and MAZDA dealers.
      KIA - part# MB630 10 135A. about $6. (WASHER is MB630 10 138A). MAZDA - part# B630 10 135A. about $12. (WASHER is B630 10 138A).

The head bolts can be re-used. But if you plan any power upgrades like a turbo, you might want to go to ARP studs.

Yup. You can reuse the old bolts on these, as they are not TTY, Torque to Yield. Many other engines use TTY bolts, but not ours. Clean them up real good, and use them again!

                LOL, Your excused!

Seriously, I didn't expect you to know about the head bolts, most are TTY.
And I did supply a link so you knew why.
But a little reading and the context alone would have told you what a B3 and B6 were.

BTW it is customary to put your location in your profile, someone may be kind enough to send you headbolts, if they know your not in Siberia!

You should try and understand that most people are not as intelligent as you presume to be and need to ask questions. Plus your reply to me could not of been without a correction to me about not having my location listed. I shall bow down to your wisdom as list my location. The Jimmy has spoken.
