Can't get the tire off....

I have a 91 and it seems that the front left tire is rusted on. I've tried a rubber mallet with little success. Any suggestions?

Use a good penetrating oil and a bigger hammer.... I just had the same thing with the driver side front wheel on my 91 GL

5lbs. steel maul hit the rim if its a steel rim, dont do this with alloy ;-)

If all else fails. take the lug nuts right off, set the car back down on the ground, with jack still underneith and rock the carback and forth until the rust seal pops loose, the tire shouldn't come all the way off but be careful. I had to do this to two different festivas.

I'd leave the lug bolts in but loose if you do what logan says.
