  • 89 4 speed to a 5 ?

when I have the 5speed installed, do I need anything other than whats already there to do the job?
also, I want to put new bushings/rubber in the linkage to tighten it up. where can I get them?

are there any shifter replacements available and easy to install and work well?

    thanks

You can use a Civic short shifter which has a bearing in the bottom at the connection point of the linkage.
    One reccomendation is these: http://www.corksport.com/corksport-b...ngs.html?sl=EN

    And this one: http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...ifter+bushings

Or, maybe a pattern-less shift knob. I just found two extra shifter bushings last night.
