is there an alternate carberator for the festy?

i have an 89 festy runs great when the carb isnt all goofy but i was thinkin if i could bypass alot of the vac lines and find a webber or something to put on that would get rid of my hit and miss problem any ideas ?

Escort carb is an awesome bang for your buck.
I got one for 75 bucks from ebay, and it was nos.
these carbs were for the old exp escort 1.6
and my require a rejet for better mpgs.
I used this carb on a 1.6 swap so it worked great for me.
With this carb you will need a adapter plate. Rocket man on here sells plates. I made mine out of 8th inch plate and 1.5" pipe.
