  • Clutch Cable.

my clutch cable snapped at the pedal.

how hard is it to replace and whats a good price on a new one?

i know fms has them for 31, auto zone ahs them for 31, napa has them for 38.

but my buddy has a shop and he can get it for 12. i ahd napa order one in. they didnt take and cash till delivery. but im jsut wondering what kind of deals you guys got?

and i recently ahd to get a flasher unit and the only place that couldd get the right one was the ford dealership and they wanted 102$ haahaah.

i went to the junkyard and got it for free. the guy just let me have it.

there were door pockets on the car i took it out of (bad condition the one i seen wasnt broke it was jsut dirtyyy and scratched.) but if anyone wanted me to i could go pick them up

12 bucks sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Ive personally never had one break on my car and it has around 230K miles on it now. So I'm not too sure what the going rate is for one

Have your buddy get it for you! As long as it is in a reasonable amount of time.

The hardest part on the job is getting the old nut off the rusted cable and then getting the grommet into the firewall.

You need the nut and round piece that goes between the nut and the clutch fork. The new cable don't come with those.
