There's 3 fusible link on the drivers (left) side fender that you need to check. Most people replace them with long blade fuses I believe. You may have one of them blown.Jerry

just go to the parts store and buy the plug in type and replace the old ones with a 30-40 amp plug in type fuse link.

Here is a great picture from scitzz
Fuse on left is called a "long legged" vs the one on the right. Both will work but the long leg fit without cutting out the center.
