Well back when I changed the waterpump and timing belt, it was just fine, it wasn't over torqued, hell I even backed it off. But starting a month or two ago, I was starting to hear bearing grinding noises.
I looked down at the tensioner and it was cockeyed, but still was providing tension to the belt. It was way too cold to be do anything about it, so I ignored it, and I have been running the car everyday since with no issues. Well today I decided to fiddle with it an noticed, the head of the tensioner bolt is gone, so the bolt broke and that is why it has been sitting cockeyed, the spring has been keeping the pulley from falling off.
Wow and I have been driving for a couple months with this?!? At least 1500 miles.
But it looks you can't get these bolts, but it seems like basic enough of a bolt where I can just get one from the hardware store. Unless someone know of a easily accessible source of said bolt, like maybe from the HELP section at a McAutoparts store.
