    Moved to the proper section

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Unfortunately, pictures can't tell anyone how an engine runs or what needs replacing. It appears to be an untouched factory B3 1.3L SOHC motor. Were you provided with any service records or maintenance history when you purchased the car?

Perhaps the transmission was swapped from an older model Festiva then.

Is there something wrong with it? If it isn't making weird noises and is running fine.... then it is probably fine! I'd change all the fluids since it had been sitting a while, but sounds like a nice festy! And like I mentioned in your other thread, someone must have swapped a 4 speed transmission in your car. My 91 was like that as well.
