A few weeks back my car would not start at all. It had spark and gas and would crank but not start. I changed the coil and ever since it has started. Was just wondering why it doesn't start quick like it used to. It cranks about 3 times then starts. I have changed plugs, wires, rotor, cap. Any ideas of the slower starting? Thanks

Jim: Have you checked your ignition timing? This can cause slow starting.
-With the ignition off, ground the self test plug (ST1) located near the brake booster. It is a single pin black connector.
-Warm up the car
-Set idle to 700RPM
-Check timing marks on crankshaft pulley with timing light connected to the #1 spark plug wire.
-#1 cylinder should be firing at -10BTDC. The lower timing cover will have a "10" reference mark on it to indicate correct setting."Fred" 93 Festiva L B6-ME Swap
