Or could it be that and a combination of other issues? I still have no power in 5th gear. Things I have done, plugs, wires, rotor and cap, ignition coil, fuel pump, fuel filter, temperature sensor, checked cam timing. I did these things to try and fix the power issue and now my wheel bearing is really loud. Only getting 300miles on a full tank of gas. I'm having the wheel bearings done this coming Wednesday so I'll be able to tell soon if its the main cause for my fuel mileage loss. What say you?

Could a real bad front wheel bearing cause a 10mpg fuel loss?

I would say it could be a contributing factor. The way I look at it is, if the bearing is bad it's going to cause extra drag.
Along with if the bearing is really bad it could cause the rotor to make an angular contact with the pads. It could also cause a slight front wheel misalignment which would all add up to a loss in MPG and power in a higher gear.
This is all speculation on my part.
