And UNIX will reportedly suffer its own internal "Y2K" problem (the date will wrap back around to something like 1-Jan-70) sometime in the year 2038.

I recently read that major portions of the North American electricity grid are still based on WinXP, for which support ends on April 7 this year, shortly after which the bad guys will quickly bring down the entire grid with virus attacks. Time to stock up on hand-crank flashlights!

How'd this thread get hijacked?!? lol!

Anywho, Cleaned the fan plugs on Squig & Blue. Still not working. Blue's relay makes a click noise when I unplug the wire from the sensor. Squig makes no noise at all.

      I'm a bit stumped now!!!

I have said before that the fan connector is not watertight. Female spade terminals are very difficult to clean. Usually the best solution is to pop them out of the connector with a terminal extractor, cut the old terminals off close, crimp on new brass open barrel terminals and pop them back in. You would only lose about a quarter of an inch in wire length.
Did you try my alternative mild acid dip recommendation?

Yes I did, but I guess it wasn't enough. I just wound up putting new connectors on.

Where is the relay? How do I check it out?

They used non-waterproof connectors for corner lights, starter motor, fan, horn and many other components that you can certainly bring to the good ol' service department.

Everyone should clean all of their connector terminals at least once every twenty years.

Use glasses to dip the entire connector in. The plastic connector and insulation will not be affected. Only the brass and copper. This beats poking a small file into the terminal to try and get some bare metal.
I disconnected the sensor at the thermostat and the fan did not come on. I did hear the relay clicking. I pulled apart the plug at the fan and used a syringe to squirt in some dilute battery acid followed by baking soda solution and then rinsed it several times with clear water. I sprayed it all off with electrical contact cleaner, plugged it together and the fan came on.

                    Thanks.
