Yes im sure there is a thread already somewhere but my aspire knuckles need new bearings and oreilly only shows a taper bearing for the front of an aspire but if im not mistaken they use a sealed press in correct?

    Nope there right.
I would recommend temkens over national .
Temkens are from auto zone and there set 11's .
Inner and outer. Don't for get seals and don't mix up the spacers there hub specific

Do you need a press to change them?

Press is recommended but you can get um done with a hammer and assorted pipe. There's a how to on here some were, but I believe it was For the festiva hubs.

Yeah they are a tight fit but not an interference fit.. meaning while a press does make it easier they aren't so tight that you can't do them "by hand" with minimal encouragement... at least not the festiva. Aspire isn't much different IIRC.

I find it easier to use a swing press, AKA BFH, than a shop press.

Or what I did. I bought a large thing of allthread, four nuts, a washer big enough to cover the bearings and seal. Slide through wheel, nut one side of the allthread with two nuts and throw a washer up there. Put a wrench on one side and nut and washer the other. Then impact the the nut holding a wrench and they will set in. My twenty dollar bearing press! Get them out by beating with a twenty-seven millimeter socket and then get a cheap press clamp from Harbor Freight. I did my bearings in like two hours. Or find a shop. But I called and it was 50 a side. And my way they are press tight!
