I have a 1992 Festiva that died about 2 months ago and it didn't have spark at first but I changed out the ICM and distributor and spark is back. but it still doesn't start. My fuel pressure is 40psi and im getting a blue spark from the plugs and coil. When you disconnect the fuel and spray carb cleaner it'll back fire and start to kick over but as soon as you add gas it'll quit. I have checked the timing on it multiple times and its right on. I have injector pulse also. Im running out of ideas. any input would be helpful.

Check your distributor, I start out with it half way between the adjustment. That should get it started so you can throw a timing light on it to do final adjustments.
Also make sure your intake tube is hooked up and has no holes or cracks in it ,it must be in tact from air flow meter to throttle Body.
The air flow meter triggers the fuel pump while your cranking.

Just a thought - if something electrical went bad it may have killed your fusible links by the battery. Take a look and see if they are OK. Nitrofarm has a great link in his signature that explains how to clean up the connections and add new style Fuses.
