Out of curiosity, what was the problem? -
I was being stupid I think. The EFI dist has a crank sensor in it. The carb one does not. The ECU wants a CPS AFAIK. So many acronyms.
So I assume the ECU wouldn't let the car start without the CPS.Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.
