My ignition module, the thingy next to the coil is ticking...

Are you sure it's not the purge solenoid that is on the firewall by the booster?? It clicks to purge the charcoal canister.

Here are the two parts that I can hear and FEEL the ticking in.

Yep that's your icm, your right.
I've never heard of this maybe someone else will chime in with a simmer experience.
