1988 carb b3 alternator wiring

Hi guys.
I forgot to label my alternator wiring and now seem to have lost (or unable to see) my alternator wires that plug into the bottom of the alternator.

Can anyone tell me what colour wires I'm looking for?

Also. There were to wires with blade connectors going to this. There was a plug nearby that looked like it would fit perfectly, but it was unused.
A photo would be a bonus.

The plug is for the heater plate on the base of your original carb, that is if you still have it. The cables of the alternator have their own plugs, so it should be just a matter of putting them in their respective place.

I need to which one goes in the s terminal and which goes in the L terminal.
Mine was connected with blade connectors, not a plug.
I have a black/red and a black/white.

Black red is the charge warning light.
I just need to know whether that s or L

Would L stand for "light"?

mmmm dont know if Australian festys were any different in the wiring, let me check the manuals one more time... give a seg...

I know black/red is the warning light because I traced it back to the instrument cluster.

But yeah. Not sure about S or L.
