  • Heavy Guage white wire to fuseable links (No Power)

Been chasing a short recently , car works fine for weeks ,then dead battery, then runs battery down while driving
(I am assuming it shorts after starting and runs off battery at times ,other times it charges)

believe it was white wire on fuseable link in the middle , had it running earlier tonight and blew link and now it has no power at all from the white wire, red wire has power ,no lights or nothing to the ignition

any body have an idea what to do to this thing??

The middle fusible link supplies the main power for most of the stuff in the car.
It goes to both the alternator and ignition switch. Test the alternator first before you replace the link. You have a short to ground somewhere. Good luck.
