buzzer comes on when dome light is on???

so I just got done with the escort dome swap. very simple and straightforward much better lighting, however I noticed last night when I turned it on while driving down the road so the kiddoes could see for a minute and the buzzer went off the whole time the main dome light was on. it did not go off while the map lights were on. hmmm?

I did a search for you. I typed in "dome + buzzer" and found thread 23897
Be sure to include a plus sign in order to find threads containing both words.

No problem capri.
The search parameter also allows for an exclusion function.
If you want to eliminate all the results with the word buzzer, then type "dome -buzzer" with no space between the negative sign and the word "buzzer".
You will find that others have wired it so that the buzzer sounds and the dome light goes out when the door is opened. It's simply a miswiring problem.
