Hey everyone. i recently had a tire rip apart on me while driving and seen to have a problem finding a used tire to replace it with. the tire size on the tires i have now are 155r12 i think they are the old version. I was wondering if any one knows what tire size is supposed to be and what can i replace the old one with.i would ideally like to change just the one tire but cant seem to find a used 155r12 , what other tire size is compatible with my 1988 ford festiva? thanks for any ideas or suggestions!

There's a list of compatible tire sizes at the top of the Custom Suspension, Brakes, & Wheels forum.
I've seen 12" tires on the Internet. Your local tire store should be able to get one on special order.
About $50 ea as I remember. Also try the For Sale/Wanted forum.
Bert gave me a very good price on some surplus 12" tires and rims he had, even snow tires, as he has switched to larger rims and tires.Original owner of silver grey carburetted 1989 Festiva. 105k km as of June 2006. 140k km as of June 2021.
